2016 Bali – Komodo Eclipse

Arrival in Bali, transfer to hotel.

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Labuhan Bajo. Upon arrival at Labuan Bajo, you will be picked up from the airport to the harbor by our representative. The Lunch will be served, and while you enjoy lunch and the breeze on the boat, we will sail towards Sabolan Island. Here you will be able to snorkel, dive, canoe, or ride on banana boat. Diving in this site is recommended. The soft corals and large gorgonians are excellent. The fish life, particularly sharks, makes this site even more inviting. In the late evening, the boat sail to Rinca.
Lunch and dinner provided on the boat.
Any dive activity will be on personal cost.

In the morning we will arrive at Rinca, another best place to find Komodo dragon in Indonesia. In the late afternoon we will use tender boat to Kalong island or Bat island. Kalong Island is a small mangrove forest dwelt by thousand of bat fruit located on the sea in Flores.
Breakfast, Lunch, tea and Dinner will be provided onboard.

Breakfast will be served on board. After breakfast, preparation for disembarkation and our representative will take you to the airport of Labuhan Bajo.
Then fly to Bali Island. Upon arrival at Bali, transfer to hotel in Ubud.

Today we have a full day tour. Firstly we visit observe the traditional clothing batik and weaving processes. And then proceed to Celuk for its gold and silverworks, Batuan to visit the traditional Balinese house compound. Continue the drive to Tegalalang for Rice Field attraction and followed by personal lunch at a local restaurant. The next stop will be at Mas, famous for woodcarving and to see some traditional paintings. Around 14.00 drive to Tanah Lot for Sunset Tour. This tour features a visit to one of the Bali’s most beautiful temples called Taman Ayun which remains from the Royal Mengwi Dynasty, followed by a visit to Tanah Lot temple placed on a huge rock surrounded by the sea at a high tide where you can enjoy a beautiful silhouette at sunset.

Free time at your own leisure to enjoy the white sandy beach. In the afternoon around 14.00 you will be picked up and drive to Uluwatu Temple situated about 70m on the cliff overlooking the bay. From there watch the rough seas of the Indian ocean rush forward, hitting the rocks beneath the cliff, and in the background. We will proceed to enjoy the Traditional Kecak Dance, a dramatic performance lasting about 45 minutes, where 25-50 dancers chant “cak” and throw up their arms, depicting a battle from the Ramayana where monkeys help Prince Rama fight the evil King Ravana. The dance will be performed on an open stage on a cliff in Uluwatu Temple complex, and in the background, a beautiful sunset colors the sky orange as it slowly disappears away, replaced by the moon at night. Proceed to the famous Jimbaran Beach for having romantic dinner (on personal expenses) right on the beach sand of Jimbaran Beach. Taste the grilled fish on the sand of a open-air beachfront café and enrich your dining experience with one not usually available at 5 star hotels (dinner on personal expenses). Feel the atmosphere!

We have another tour today. The excursion features a visit to the greatest temple of Bali. Firstly we will visit Klungkung to see the Old Court and Justice of Kertagosa at Klungkung Village. On the way to Besakih, you will visit Bukit Jambul Rice Terrace. We finally drive up to Balinese biggest and holiest temple at Besakih, majestically situated on the slope of Mt. Agung.
We will finish this trip in app, 7 hours time.

Transfer to the airport, then fly to Jakarta and to Pangkal Pinang.

Wake up at 4.00am.Breakfast Box will be supplied. Departure at 4.30am from the hotel and drive to the our speacial reserved eclipse spot with tent to see Total Solar Eclipse that will take place for 2 Minutes, 10 Seconds. Eclipse begins the at 06:20 and will last until 7:24:10. Soft drinks and water will be served. After the eclipse we will visit the city of Koba and then drive back to our hotel.

Afternoon is at leisure.

The check out time limit from hotel is at 12.00. At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport, then fly to Jakarta and fly back home.
